This is amazing. There is more to life than just looking out for your self and worrying about being better than everyone else. If everyone followed that philosophy, there might not even be a need for what John is doing. Unfortunately that is not the world we live in at the moment. Awesome to see someone stepping up to help, even more awesome when it is someone I already looked up to and respected as a rider.

I remember takin Heaton out when he was underage with Craz-E-Crew team in Ottawa. Dude got snorkeled and started chuckin beer bottles at the dancefloor. The DJ started loosing it, and he got one too! Needless to say, he got ushered out the side door as fast as he got smuggled in! Amazing rider, and a role model

B.O.T. I wish more people saw riding the way john does. Money’s cool but the journey bmx takes you on….amazing. And he’s giving back. Looking out for people in the same deep shit he was and trying to give them hope that there’s better things out there for them. Seems like a really great guy. I like his attitude.

Before veiwing this I knew nothing about John Heaton besides the facts that he is Canadian, has bigger stones than most and crazy skills to match. Wow! A well-deserved eye opener for sure. This makes me think about how I could help people. That may sound cheesy…whatever.
