This is most likely the worst edit i’ve ever seen. filming is horrible, ever hear of the zoom button? Let me rephrase that, ever hear of a telephoto lens? Editing was atrocious, this isn’t like editing a Lady Gaga music video for MTV, we actually want to be able to see the whole trick from take off to the ride-away. The music did not fit the edit one bit and finally what was with all the close-up shots of little boys in the beginning? Did a pedophile edit this??

Please don’t post anything Chilly-O on this site, been watching you build Hate for over 2 years, we aren’t about that, were are about introducing something different in BMX culture. I’m sure your not supportive, your journalistic savvy only exist because you have no competition and you are the reason BMX is not huge compared to other genres.

Bud, people only hate on shit if it’s shit. There have been countless other videos with nothing but good comments. This video lacked several things that the real world of BMX requires an edit to have. I even need assistance in compiling a list of things. But for starters, No same angle shot twice, always do it from a new angle, but then again you should have a unique angle depending on the trick. Two, you need really expensive lens’s and shit, but it has to be the shit all the artsy photographer bmxer’s think is good. Three, the riders in your edit must be able to do truckdrivers, tuck no hands, hop whips, vaderjams, flair on a sketchy street bank/quarter, oh and probably hop bar to man to hop bar.

Please everynoe help educate mr.Chilly-O on what makes a good edit. I’m not even being sarcastic, all those things I listed I find in the top rated videos, no joke.

PS, all down 20 stair sets. Thats why I only ride my bmx for fun now LOL.

There is nothing “hip hop standards culture” about this video. It was just badly done, the filming was terrible, and the editing was even worse. Vanderball I appreciate your feedback, I shot this edit in a restricted situation, didn’t have camera glide didn’t have time to compose shot… on Imovie. I’m going to introduce a photographic stile that will be heavily borrowed due to a lack of openmindedness on this site and the sport. I got 4200 views 13 likes al I need to keep going . Been riding BMX since 83, I wasn’t doing this video for just BMXer I did this video as new form of expression as it relates to hip hop. I’m still not convinced that the come down is relevant in the sport. They hate even on guys who are ridiculous. PS the riders were just amatuer kids and I’m sure there level is beyond most people leaving comments. BMX is also Art Fashion Lifestyle more deep than just your infactuation with Tricks.

But if that is the way you like to see your edits keep doing them like that. Difference between hate and constructive criticism.. Good Job Turtle Time but again this edit was experimental for hip-hop style and riders in contest, I was restricted to a certain part of park during contest, no steadicam, no tripod shot in 16 mm left there during wide shots. No time or area to compose shots or angles during contest with small amount riders. This edit was made strictly for vimeo,riders and to experiment with a hip hop style edit. Did not and edit for BMX Blog Post. Appreciate the feedback but when I edit for a blog post I generally send it out.

Please don’t underestimate the brand, 5 years strong for a reason, part of that reason is listening to Constructive criticism.
