Simpel Session 10 Trailer.

The Simpel Session dudes sent over this trailer for this year’s contest featuring some real good riding from last year. That Gary Young manual up the rail to whip has to be old, but I didn’t see it before and it was definitely WTF status. Check the dates and information after the jump.

Simpel Session 10
Time: 5-7th February 2010
Place: Saku Suurhall, Tallinn Estonia

Simpel Session has reached it’s 10th anniversary year and has grown into major contest and meeting point, both in the world of BMX and skateboarding. But although rocking an impressive line-up of pro riders from around the globe, an innovative skatepark layout and cutting-edge media broadcasts, it is still just one massive party where riders come to hang out with their friends and enjoy the laid-back vibe.

The course will be designed by well-known skatepark designer Nate Wessel. The event is once again hosted by the devoted announcers Zack “Catfish” Yankush and Dave “Double D” Duncan. The unforgettable contest will be followed by unstoppable afterparties on both nights.

Don’t miss out Simpel Sessions 10th Year Anniversary! It is going to be the best Simpel Session to date.

Simpel session is a major BMX not skateboard event. Actually I don`t know why they still host skate competition, because in skater world it is nothing close as good as it is in bmx. Probably tradition from early years, but it`s good, because you get some rest to go and have some drinks and food and calm down form screaming your head of from excitement.
You can check rider lineups – all the the worlds top super mega BMX riders and some not so well known skaters, that`s why they don`t show them in trailer…. hah!
I have been there for four times and I can say that every time it was almost better then the first time I got to finger a chick!!

not so well known skaters? You guys just don’t know skaters then.

Over the years Simpel Session has hosted Peter Ramondetta, Sierra Fellers, Chris Haslam, Kenny Reed, Kenny Hughes, Ali Boulala, Bastien Salabanzi, Mike V and many more.

Steve Nesser comes to mind as well

Yea, but not the now shreding skater top. Usually there are one or two popular name in skate, but if you look in bmx lineups then in these last few years it is easier to name those who are not coming to simpel then those who are. And it is obvious that the main thing that simpel session is all about is BMX and parties.

as someone close to some of the organizing people I can say that Simpel Session is putting the same effort on skating than to BMX. it just takes a bit more time for the rockstars US skate world to jump on the bandwagon. But Europe skaters already consider it as the best event.

and what is awesome about the event is that they invite the true skaters not only the Dew tour contest robots. You don’t see guys like Haslam, Reed, Louie Barletta, Tony Tave etc. doing many comps but they did Simpel Session
