TCU Premiere: Alex Raban Peg Leg/Giant East Coast Video.

Recently Alex Raban spent some time on the east coast riding Boston-area spots and then spent a few days riding with me in Brooklyn. Devin Feil was there to capture all the stuff he did and these are some of the things Alex didn’t want to use for his upcoming video part (seriously). After spending a few days in the presence of Raban, I can’t deny that he is definitely one of the most technical, dialed riders alive.

    It’s funny though. What difference does it make if Giant quits tomorrow? If you’ve ridden BMX longer than 5 years and actually think about it,Giant has been in the BMX industry longer than the majority of brands out right now. First with the Giant name, then the Mosh sub-brand around’99 and now back to Giant branding. Over the years the “Giant brand” has sponsored dudes like Wilke, Aitken, Bohan, Cleveland, Pinter, Purro, Ardelean, Bagley, Whaley, Hirsch, Patrick King, Wolfman, David Stroud, Taj, Brett Walker, Sean Sexton and now they’re down with helping out dudes like Raban so they can ride as much as possible and get the coverage they deserve. People can say what they want about Giant, but when you actually look at the past, Giant’s respectively helped out some of the biggest names in BMX and helped them get to where they are today so more power to them.
