I don’t understand why you would change the name. It’s just a different sport. I am very happy that BMXers have learned it and i hope they keep progressing with it. before bmx bikes were even invented someone put handlebars on a skateboard (check back to the future movie 1) When the skateboard had handlebars it was a kind of scooter. People saw this invention and BMX was born. All of the tricks BMX has done was done on a scooter first. Scootering gave birth to BMX riding and the bikes in general. Skateboarding even stole scootering tricks.

You see, scootering was underground for many years while bmx dominated, but it was always there underground progressing stuff. When we decided as an industry to go mainstream, we revelled the razor scooter and did OG scooter tricks on them. BMX simple copied us.

FACT: the Brooklyn banks was first ridden by scooters in 81 and they did tailwhips back then.

What you fail to grasp is that unlike many people on here, I didn’t accuse you of shit. I stated that maybe you should publicly admit that you didn’t invent the trick. The scooter riders would back off there campaign (Ive seen the scooter forum and the post about how funny it is winding the BMXers up and how you should all join in), it may also stop the riders here getting their backs up and feeling like they need to defend their own.

I’m pretty sure also, that “Thousands and thousands of bikers have seen this trick” is a bit of an overstatement, personally in the UK I haven’t seen anyone over 6 on a scooter in years but maybe that’s just here. I think that all this is suddenly blowing up because Adams description of the video stating that it is a scooter trick, with a scooter given name. No one cared before because no one does it on bikes anymore so its not in the public eye, ’til now. Fact is BMX did the trick first for BMXers and you did it first for Scooters.
