So what ever happened to good filming and editing. Yea the riders are great. But honestly Mike should get a little better practice with handling shitty footy. Adam cant film, and you cant just overnight think you are a good editor. Get some flow, and learn how to put clips together. Although nice on the wall fade mike.

I’d often thought of speeding up footage for an edit, (which this obviously was), to see how it worked with that style of riding. I think it was a conscious choice for style.

Parts of it went a bit too fast, but only because I would’ve liked to soak these clips in normal speed. There wasn’t one average clip in that entire edit. Fucking shred the gnar, holy shit.

Good edit. I applaud the concept, and the riding was fucking moon landing.

they took this trip like 3 months ago and everytime adam posted something about it he made it seem like our heads would be blown it didn’t live up to the hype, yeah there was some good clips but really? theres good clips everyday on this site, i think this is just like the come up dvd where it feels rushed over hyped and diddnt live up to anything

hittle is sick. so is that garrett kid. edit was alright, but i expected better. considering the other edit is titled “the digicam edit”, i’m not getting my hopes up. at least it was filmed by someone who knows what they’re doing…

There are NO doubts that mike can film and edit better than most. His own edits are proof of that. I think it could be entirely possible that he is not used to editing someone else’s filming, because he has never done it before. I would imagine that it is a whole new animal altogether.

He is obviously doing something right, because he got the tap and the rest of us just get to watch.

Yo just so everyone knows there were only 4 instances of sped up footage in the entire video, 1 was Russ for a half a second on the pole jam train. 2 was ben hittles curb to curb turndown..again on the landing, and 3 was seeleys dubbs over the rainbow rail….now the only reason this was sped on the landing was because adam accidently boinked the camera into something as he landed so i was trying to make it look a little more suitable. 4 seeleys run up to his pole jam off the roof. the hardest part about making this flow i think was taking riders like jake seeley who is more tech and overall slower riding style…meanwhile Russ who is cookin at huge gaps you know. its a big contrast to work with.

Right on Mike, thanks for the info. I watched it again and saw what you were talking about. First time through it almost all looked sped up. I think Russ’ gaps had something to do with it. I noticed Ben’s sped up part, and then just figured Russ’ clips were sped up too but i guess he really is that bonkers.
