So here we are. November is over. December is here. I’m not really in the mood for long winded explanations, so let’s just get down to brass tacks and see what’s up this month in the world of web videos.
Previously: The Top Ten Web Videos Of October 2009

10) Dan Foley Premium Web Video: Getting put on the Premium team is a pretty big deal and this was a big month for Dan with the release of his Props bio and this web video.

9) Long Story Web Video: Everyone in NYC has been looking forward to this edit for the past few months and it came out super good. Awesome riding from riders you probably already like, like Marlon Europe, Oba Stanley and Ralphie Ramos plus new faces like Baby Food and Jose.

8) TCU Exclusive: David Grant Albes Web Video: It’s hard to think of anyone with a track record of going half as hard with the web videos as David Grant lately and in November he put out two popular edits that each got over 140 comments (here’s the other one). At the rate he’s going I’d be shocked if December didn’t yield another solid effort even though the east coast weather is definitely going to be putting a damper on David’s fun.

7) TCU Exclusive: Hoang Tran Subrosa Web Video: Hoang is obviously an awesome rider, but it takes more than just being a good rider to get 204 comments. This one got that many comments based on a combination of barspin controversy (are they stylish or just gross?), aesthetic disagreements (was the black and white cool, or just dumb?) and of course the fact that Hoang is just a treat to watch ride.

6) Hood Antics Presents: A Session With Steven Hamilton: This isn’t the first time Steven has drummed up an insane amount of comments, but this video seems like it struck a chord. Which is especially impressive considering this video seems like it was filmed in about 5 minutes, doesn’t have music and mostly consists of Steven doing the same tricks over and over.

5) Ty Morrow & Dan Lacey In Barcelona: This was a follow up to the original Ty Morrow & Dan Lacey Federal edit which is definitely one of the most legendary web videos. Did it live up to the original? It might not be quite as good, but it’s definitely awesome anyway.

4) Brad Simms: Warming Up In NYC: Brad Simms had been under the radar for a while prior to this video, but this served as a reminder that he hasn’t skipped a beat. His last clip will definitely go down in history, but will it end up becoming more common place? Hard to say, it seems like the kind of thing that might catch on and kids will be doing it all the time in 5 years, but who knows. Either way this edit is sick.

3) Skapegoat 4: All the Skavengers have been memorable and this one was no exception. It consists of all footage that won’t make it into the upcoming Animal DVD, so it definitely helped drum up some anticipation for that too, as if it needed any help.

2)Sean McIntosh Stranger Web Video: Stranger made it’s appearance on the web this month with the longest nose manual ever courtesy of Caleb Quanbeck (he’s already one-upped it, I won’t say how) and Sean McIntosh’s impressive web video. Depending on who you ask of the 210 commenters, this edit is either the moat creatively edited video of the month, or more proof that Rich Hirsch is the anti-Christ but you definitely can’t deny that the riding is on point.

1) Tate Roskelley Volume Web Video: Everyone loves some creative riding and Tate came hard with it in this edit. There was a lot of good stuff online this month but I pretty much knew before we even got started that this one was going to be on the top of the list, it’s just that good. Check out the interview I did with him a few days later too.
