“Trails is Shoutin Jam popped off this year, Riders like Pat Casey,Dennis Enarson,DGAF Dan,Luke Parslow,Dylan Stark,Cory Nasty,TJ Ellis,Larry edgar, and many more came to shred and in deed they did… Some gnarly tricks were done to say the least. 1st place had to go to Dennis Enarson, the dude was on fire, He was bustin triple whips, bar to whip, you name it… Also best trick went down Hard, Daniel sandoval won it easy with a 720 whip, but that doesnt mean the riders wernt bust some other gnaly moves, like Dylan Stark with a 180 whip over the last set… Heres the event as i saw it, so check it, and lemme know what you thought, im always down for some feed back.     For a trails contest, that was some UGLY riding.

    Nac Nacs aren’t cool, or even “trails”. Especially half arsed ones.

    There was so much trying to be “stylish” with tdowns and stuff, it just came off forced, stiff and ugly.

    This jam painted trails in a bad light.

    so many dudes trying to be stylish and doing turndowns….. haha anyway, I did see a back to back turndown from one guy though, which made me cringe a little, and one run full of unfinished tricks, that was definitely half assed, but the majority had some pretty bad ass style. some of those 360′s were borderline backflips.

    There were a couple of exceptions, but most were failed attempts at being “trails”.

    yes it was an amazing day. thanks to shane and travis for busting your backs fixing the jumps all the time and thanks for stephen for bringing everyone together for a really fun day. i drove an hour and a half and always will for a da coumpound events. good people and good times. that’s what bmx is about guys.

    I don’t know what your deal is but this contest was about one thing, and one thing only… STEPHEN MURRAY. So, I think your direspectful from all the hard work he did just to do that. And, just because there arnt any trees around the jumps doesnt mean they arent trails. And pedaling is where bmx started! Also, I was the kid in the video, “Spanky”, and i did nac nac in the video; nac nacs were one of the first tricks in bmx. Plus, theyre sooooo fun! So, you should really back off. But anyways, great video Sean! The Compound Rules!!!!
